the epic, sweeping masterpiece that is functionally the end of the record.  I’ve heard reports that people just busted out laughing as soon as the strings came in, and I can’t say I blame them.  it’s overwrought and I love it.  the chords are so non-me, and neither is the arrangement.  I’ve been told this song feels longer than it really is, and I’m glad for it.  this song pairs with “so it goes” as the two most “crisis of location”-specific tunes.  also, I like the lyrics to this one pretty well.
